Porsche , a photo by Dubaiwali on Flickr. So, many cars caught my eye at the Dubai Motor Show 2011, but this is the one which I fell in love with. Not because I am a Porsche fan as such, but it is because the way the car was lit up, the positioning, the show casing of the car by the Porsche people was amazing. I took this photograph and it has become on of my favourites from the Motor Show. I love the contrast. I love the Blacks and the Reds. I love the Silver gleam of the car itself in the picture.

What is it with everyone becoming a philosopher these days? Half of the time, the thoughts do not even make sense; even though the people whose thoughts it is insist upon others that they do. Sometimes and it is rarely the case, you can justify a thought, by your reasoning. However, it is not so that everyone gets your thought, or even understands your reasoning. Most of the times, your thought is merely just another sentence for the other person. The other person whose reading or hearing your thought, does not know what thought process went behind it, so cannot fully understand the thought, neither can he/she fully relate to it. Before, it was very hard for people to get their thoughts out in to the public. Thoughts used to be such a private thing, only kept in the inner deepest most corners of the mind, or shared with people really close to you. I was going to name this blog entry/note 'Not another darned blog entry on Friendships' but then, I thought I won't name it that. I would name it 'In the name of Silence' because that is what this blog is going to be about. How there is so much silence, a lack of communication and not enough understanding in Friendships these days. Friendships does seem to be a very favourite topic of mine, but what can I do? I have gone through so many things, seen the many facets of people and life, that nothing surprises me any more. Want to know something? Last week someone actually asked me if I watched porn. My reaction to her question was a big what the fuck? NO! It is not unusual for people to watch porn these days. People don't even take in to account if their religion prohibits them from doing something. Like this girl, that asked me this question, did not take in to account the fact that she is a Muslim and she should not be indulging in so called sin. My second reaction was, oh my god, but she is a Pakistani! How can she watch porn? Then it hit me, since when has nationality stopped anyone from doing anything. People do much worse things in Pakistan, than watching porn and it has been happening from ages. Difference is people don't talk openly about it. So not all of us are blessed with those good looks. You know those killer eyes, that flawless complexion, that cute expression? Even in a badly taken photograph, the person comes out looking cute or even scary cute. They are cute none the less. Some of us, look alien or even ugly. Some of us are unrecognisable in our photos. We look so different from how we are in real life. People keep saying to us, oh but you look much better in real life! Then there are some people who are not so good looking, but their photos come out really good!! That’s what is called when you say someone is photogenic. Their face is made for camera.
